Hallo, my name is Mary Ann Hobson and I am the breeder

                                of Pannonius Persians. I am absolutely committed to

                                producing typy, healthy, happy little individuals, bred to                                        

                                breed standard with outstanding eye colour, temperament

                                and wonderful personalities. 

                               For  a number of years  I worked for multinationals as an

  Accountant but was never happy. After I was made redundant

  I set up a design studio producing interesting and popular designer 

  handknits which were exported round the globe and which sold very

  well. We even got a mention in VOGUE MAGAZINE !!  I also did a 

  lot of freelance design work for all the UK and some Continental Yarn

  Manufacturers and my 'creations' were featured on the front covers 

  of most leading UK magazines.

   I have been 'owned' by cats all my life and had a little black cat

  called Tosca who was the perfect love of my life. I believe she had 

  Persian ancestry as she had the most beautiful round golden eyes 

  which she certainly knew how to use to her advantage ! I always 

  longed for a 'real' Persian cat but would not get one while Tosca was

  alive for fear of upsetting 'an old lady' as she was by then. Sadly

  she died in 1990 and I found a black Persian who became the

  foundation of my breeding lines. Although neutered, this

  lovely cat  lived with me for 15 years and ruled the roost ! Sadly I lost him 

  recently and I miss him terribly. (Woodhaze Monclere  20.06.1990 - 21.08.2005)

  I soon realized the importance of type and temperament and now

  work with the BEST OF BRITISH lines combined with the very best 

  of INTERNATIONAL PEDIGREES including Catburry, Petovia,

  Pinkfantasy, Palmetto, Marhei, Sheirkahn, Skidrose,Sunlit, Artemis, Barmont to name a few.

  The PKD issue has very badly affected my cattery and it took me

  over 5 years to recover from my heavy losses. Some of my wonderful

  'furry' friends have died leaving a great gap and all the others have 

  been neutered to avoid spreading the disease even further. My 

  cattery is now PKD free with all breeding  cats carrying an FAB PKD 

  negative Certificate.  WE ARE REGISTERED  WITH CFA AND GCCF .
